By the way, it was a great vintage display by the Russian Arshavin who scored 4 goals and he has definitely made an impact in the English Premier League. It's such a pity a footballer of his talent couldn't compete in the Champions League. He simply outshone Torres who scored twice and he showed that you don't need that many handful of chances to score. Liverpool were constantly piling in the shots but the reserved keeper did a great job to minimise the damage. It was a strange night for Reina who didn't make a save at all but allowed four goals instead. That just shows you Arshavin's pure class.

The result definitely has put Manchester United in the driving seat unless they fail to capitalise their games in hand.
