Liverpool, Chelsea fall off pace. April 23 2009

Manchester United are edging closer and closer to the title after their 2-0 victory over Portsmouth. Their closest rivals Liverpool and Chelsea suffered a major blow as both sides drew in their respective matches. A sneak preview of Chelsea and Everton FA Cup final didn't show any spark as it ended in a 0-0 draw. Earlier, Liverpool squandered an opportunity by drawing 4-4 with Arsenal.

With only 5 games remaining for Chelsea and Liverpool, situation looks to favour Manchester United who has another game in hand.

Its was a hard game fought season and at the end of day we have to give it to MU for being preserverance with Sir Alec and his pool of players which Chelsea has the resources to match while Liverpool with its determination & past glory. I can't wait till August for games to begin .............
