One more day to vote. Wow, the tension begins and we are all still wondering who will be the BND 1 million awardee for the BIBD Wish Campaign.. Ok, I won't go through all the nominees.. Firstly, we have Bahrum Ali who wishes to alleviate the financial burden weighing on his shoulders as the sole breadwinner in a family of 16 siblings. Secondly, we have Pg Dr Rahmah whose dream is to establish the Darusysiyfa Warrafahah building for Islamic medicine. She was one of the BND 100,000 winner back in January 2010.
Thirdly, we have one of the favourites for the BND 1 million award, Hjh Amal Lina who will use the money earned to fund the Austitic Centre for SMARTER Brunei. I'm still bummed out that the other Amalina of Sounds of Hope missed out as a finalist. Looking at some of the stories of the 12 finalists, Sounds of Hope would have least be shortlisted. Then again, there's always next year :)
So guys, you have today and tomorrow to vote through SMS for your favourite nominees. The SMS votes will account to 30% of the finals while 70% will be based on the judges.. Just refer to the poster to vote or you can click here to see the stories of the 12 nominees before you make that final vote.

Have you upload your videos? You have less than 24 hours to do so before 31st March expires *LOL* There are many prizes at stake.. The 1st prize is BND 3,500 + Trophy + Certificate and if you happen to be in the dance category, you'll be given a month scholarship for the UK Summer Dance School. Another great thing is that Who's Got Talent winner will be given one initial recording (full composition, recording, studio time, mixing, radio release) sponsored by Projectunes Records.
So guys.. There's nothing to lose and remember how William Hung became popular? ok, ok... not to that extent... But I hope the amazing prizes are good enough to entice you to post any video that showcase your talents (singing, dancing, yoyo-ing, beat-boxing, acting, magic and so on). And upload your videos to Who's Got Talent website by today the latest and you'll never know that you'll be shortlisted (Top 30). Good luck!!
The competition is brought to you by b.mobile and Relentless Entertainment. For more info, you can visit www.gayabmobile.com.bn or www.facebook.com/relentless.entertainment. Hopefully by tomorrow, there will be more videos uploaded (You know, Bruneians).. So I featured four videos that were taken from the official website - one's a yoyo trick, the other is a number by Neesa, the third is a balloon trick (watch the video) and last of all, a local version of Blame it on the Pop.. Enjoy...

Brunei Foodies Go Pink!!! We’re back again as the Brunei Foodies Go Pink with another recipe book specializing on one of our most favorite courses in the world, DESSERT!
Why pink? Why not pink? Aside from the fact that it’s the most delicious colour in the whole wide world, it is also the colour associated with raising the awareness for breast cancer, a disease that plagues some 400 people in the country, of which are our mothers, wives, sisters or daughters and even men.
Pink because we want the ladies in our lives to be aware of this disease and not be afraid to do regular check ups and seek treatment. Pink because we do not want these unfortunate ladies to be alone. Pink because we want to show them that we are supporting them. Pink because we care. Pink because we are working in support of the Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group.
How to participate in the Brunei Foodies Go Pink! Project.
1. Think of one of your favorite desserts.
2. Type down the recipe in your own sexy way and send it to pinkdesserts@gmail.com
3. Bring it to the venue at 3pm on 11th April, 2010. Here your creation will be subjected to intense food tasting (yummy!) and photoshooting.
4. Eat and socialise :)
When and where is this food tasting session? Day: Sunny Sunday Date: 11th April, 2010 Time: 3pm-6pm Address: Casa Esperanza . No 15, Spg 68, Jln 82, Kg Rimba Gadong, Not far from GIANT Attire: Pink Casual Chic
Things you need to be aware of:
* This is a goodwill community project where you are the one who will determine the success of the project. The more you involve yourself, your friends and your family, then the more the project will succeed. :)
* Most recipes submitted will be included in the recipe book.
* I say most because, if there are more than one recipe for one dish, then we will choose the yummiest, judged by votes. And hey, since this is a healthy project, you get extra points for making healthy yet delicious desserts! <3
* All profits from the sale of the book will be handed over to the Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group.
