Last week, the announcement was made where RITS, Expansys Technology and 247 Assist were the winners of the Think Big Business Plan. My business plan is to have an online survey polls and advertising scripts for local bloggers. From what I heard, I was pretty close but there's always next time, right? :) Thank you to iCentre and BEDB for giving us the opportunity to compete. It was surely a worthwhile experience.

Man, don't you wish the sterling currency was lower back then when you were still studying? We could see a surge in the number of students planning to study in the UK. Last week, three exhibitors - James Hon, HRD Services and British Council had their respective "Study in the UK" fairs.
The British Council's Education UK 2009 Exhibition was the final of the lot and yes, it was another successful event. The crowd just kept on coming and coming until evening. As one of the representative said that the UK is a dynamic, exciting and welcoming place to study. Bruneians studying in the UK have been steadily on the rise with 750 students in 2003/04, 805 in 2004/05, 940 in 2005/06 and 1,220 in 2006/07, according to statistics made available by the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
According to the British Council, engineering, computer science, business studies, accounting and social sciences are the popular subjects among Bruneians.

For camera enthusiasts, you might be interested in investing a third party flash (for Canon and Nikon). There's the Nissin Di622 or the Nissin Di466 flash for you to choose from. The prices are pretty affordable and cheaper compared to Nikon and Canon ones. This can be ideal for those who wants a backup flash or for those with low-medium budget on photography.
